Magic mirrors and open booths versus closed booths

Happy New Year every one!

The trend for the Magic Mirror and open photo booths just don’t hit the spot for us or most of our clients and here is why.

When your guests enter a closed photo booth there is something totally different about being in a private space. Nobody is watching you and your guests feel far less inhibited than if they were performing in front of all of the other guests at the party. There is nothing between you and the camera lens. Nobody is actually pointing a camera at you and saying, “smile!” That always was the essence of the photo booth when it was first invented over 90 years ago.

Some people do go over the top and occasionally, there is a bit of frantic censoring the following Monday after a particularly boozy Christmas party but it’s always good natured stuff.

Yet another difference that we find our clients love and another factor to consider when choosing your photo booth.
