- Does the Photo Booth include an assistant?
Yes it does. Two professional assistants are present during the entire shooting period if a Guestbook is part of your package. One to help your guests operate the booth and refill the printer. The other to make sure that your guests leave messages alongside their photos and to assemble your Guestbook at the end of the evening. We are the only photo booth company in the UK that has an assistant to put your Guestbook together and ask your guests to leave written messages alongside their photos. One thing that we hear time and time again from our clients is just how good, friendly and fun our staff are. We pay our staff good wages and do not employ youngsters.
- Are prints included with your rental rates?
Yes but we go much, much further than our competitors.
Each Photo Booth session takes four pictures which are then printed, seven seconds later, on to a 6 x 4 inch print for your guests to take away. We make a print for each of your guests in the Photo Booth and it's possible to fit up to 15 adults in our Photo Booth at the same time! It is easy for 200 plus guests to go through the Photo Booth in three hours without rushing.
Please note that one of the big differences between Rentabooth and our competitors is the number of prints that we give out to your guests. We don't charge extra for "double" prints, or extra prints. All are included in the package price when we send you a quotation.
Each time one of your guests uses our Photo Booth, regardless of the number of your guests that use it together, each of them will receive a print to take away, plus a print for your Guestbook.Rentabooth will give your guests between 600-900 prints during a busy Photo Booth and your guests don't have to ask for extras, but, of course they can. They are printed automatically according to the number of your guests using the Photo Booth.Our system is so fast that the first print drops into the printer tray as your guests are leaving the Photo Booth. A second print drops into the printer tray seven seconds later.
- Is the Guestbook book that you offer, completed on the night?
Yes it is. We have the book cover with your names and date made prior to your event. Your guests take their prints away with them and the extra print made is fixed into your album with a special gluing machine. We then invite your guests to write a message onto the page alongside their images before they return to the party.
We present the completed book to you at the end of the evening.
Please note we can make your book cover in most colours.
The examples of the covers on the book page are there to give you an idea. We can make our Guestbooks in almost any colour(s).
- Can we choose color or black and white prints?
Yes. Black and white or colour.
- Is it possible to offer classic photostrips the way that the original Photo Booths did?
We offer the old style photostrips and it makes no difference to the price.
- What size prints does the Photo Booth make?
The size of prints are 6" x 4". If you have the classic strips they are 2" x 6"
- What are the dimensions of your Photo Booths?
Our Photo Booths measure 2 metres wide by 1 metre deep and they are a little over 2 metres tall. When deciding on an area for the booth, keep in mind that we need space for a table to hold our printer. The printer can go either side of the booth and if you are really tight for space, the printer can be integrated into the end of the Photo Booth. Our Photo Booth is not a solid structure and prior to assembly will fit through any doorway. We haven't found a venue yet where the Photo Booth won't comfortably fit and we can carry it up or downs stairs without a problem. Please bear in mind that your guests take up space too, trying on hats etc, and take it into account when choosing an area for the photo booth. It is much better flat against a wall with space either side. We are always happy to advise.
- How long does it take for our pictures to be posted to your Photo Booth website?
Most Photo Booth galleries are posted 3-5 business days following an event and a leaflet is in each photo envelope that we hand out to your guests with the date and password. There is no charge for our website service.
- Do you require a damage deposit?
No we don't.
- Do you have any suggestions on choosing an area for the Photo Booth?
We recommend that you try and position the Photo Booth as close to the action as possible but if we know in advance we can provide extra signs to guide your guests to the booth if it is a little further away. On some occasions the Photo Booth has been located in a room on its own. It's not a problem at all. News that the Photo Booth is operating travels around a party very fast!
- Do you offer your Photo Booths in different colors or themes other than the one showing on your website?
Yes. If you are planning for a certain color scheme. We can change the backdrop for the images to suit your occasion. We have found that by simply changing the colour of the entrance curtain it can look very different. Please give us a call for more details.
- Are props supplied by Rentabooth to add to the fun?
A 'prop box' of accessories, such as hats, glasses etc are taken along to your event. They are included in the price.
- Do your Photo Booths allow a wheelchair user to have fun with it too?
Yes. Many older style booths have hard sides and cannot accommodate something as wide as a wheelchair. Many of them cannot even fit into a lot of venues as they are rigid structures and a lot of the time extremely heavy. We quickly remove the seat in our Photo Booth to accommodate the person in the wheelchair itself and other guests joining the person in the wheelchair gather round.
- How much is the retainer required to reserve my date?
We require 50% of your quote or £150 to reserve your date. Whichever you prefer. Payment can be made by credit, debit card. or electronically.
- When is the final payment due?
Any time prior to your event by credit/debit card/electronic transfer or cash can be paid when we arrive on the day. Like most of our clients we prefer things to be sorted out prior to the day.
- Do you charge extra for setting the Photo Booth up and taking it down?
No. The time starts from when the Photo Booth is available for use or from the time that you specify. If a booth has to be set up by 4pm because of your event's specific circumstances, but not running until 6pm, we do charge a modest hourly rate for idle time.
- What happens if the Photo Booth stops working?
From the day that we started running Photo Booths almost nine years ago we have always carried a full set of spare equipment. A spare printer, camera, computer, usb leads etc etc so that we can swiftly swap out any of our equipment that gone wrong wrong. Pretty shocked to hear very recently about one of our local competitors whose Photo Booth broke down half way through the evening and they didn't carry a spare printer.
- Pat Testing and £5 million Public Liability Insurance?
Any professional Photo Booth company must carry Public Liability insurance and have any equipment that they plug into a venue's power supply Pat Tested every year for your protection. It is a legal requirement and most venues will require documentation. We fully comply with all of the Health and Safety requirements for working at event venues. All of our equipment is Pat Tested every year and we carry Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000.
- Risk Assessment/Method Statement?
The latest hobby horse from Europe! We are happy to supply an up-to-date Method Statement and Risk Assessment for your particular venue if requested.
- Your Photo Booth looks so much better than others I have seen?
Our Photo Booths have been custom designed and built exclusively for weddings and special occasions in prestige venues. We use professional equipment and very high quality cameras for stunning image quality. One last thing to bear in mind. We have been professional wedding photographers for many, many years and the quality of our Photo Booth images and prints reflect that.
